Farmers National Bank (FNB) proudly participated in several festive events across the region, showcasing their commitment to celebrating the season with their neighbors. Here’s a look at FNB’s holiday contributions to the communities of Prophetstown, Morrison, Geneseo, and Mount Carroll.
Prophetstown Lighted Christmas Parade & Walk
Date: November 30th
Theme: A MARVELous Christmas
Prophetstown was glowing with holiday spirit during its Lighted Christmas Parade & Walk. FNB employees brought the magic of the Marvel universe to life by constructing a float inspired by the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. The float dazzled attendees with its outer-space theme, featuring a rocket ship and beloved characters like Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket, Drax, Groot, and Mantis. Children of FNB employees also had the opportunity to ride on the float, enthusiastically waving to spectators.
Over 15 FNB employees participated in the parade, walking alongside the float and handing out Galaxy-themed stress balls and candy to delighted attendees.
FNB continued its longstanding tradition of hosting a hospitality stand, serving free homemade hot chocolate, coffee, and cookies to warm up parade-goers on the chilly evening.

Mount Carroll Christmas Walk Tour of Homes
Dates: December 6th & 7th
In Mount Carroll, the holiday cheer took a more intimate form with the Christmas Walk Tour of Homes. This cherished event featured three beautifully decorated homes, welcoming visitors to explore the festive décor. FNB employees Marsha Foltz and two other volunteers lent their time and energy to this event, assisting with ticket sales and ensuring a smooth experience for attendees.

Morrison Christmas Walk & Parade
Date: December 7th
Theme: Holiday Luau
FNB employees brought a tropical twist to the holiday season during Morrison’s Christmas Walk & Parade. Their luau-themed float was a hit, with 8-10 employees participating in the festivities. Dressed in Hawaiian attire, they handed out candy, beach balls, and colorful Hawaiian leis to spread the holiday spirit.
Tiffany Tipton, an FNB employee and president of the Morrison Chamber of Commerce, played a key role in planning and executing the Christmas Walk. She also organized and ran a crowd-favorite cake walk event during the celebration.

Geneseo Christmas Walk & Parade

Theme: Too Many Santas
Though an ice storm postponed Geneseo’s Christmas Walk and Parade, FNB employees were ready to roll out their festive float. The theme, Too Many Santas, promised a jolly sight, with employees set to distribute candy to attendees along the route.
