Community Impact Fund
It provides the Community Foundation with the greatest flexibility in responding to emerging community needs, innovative opportunities and on-going projects in the community. The foundation supports organizations that respond to one or more of the following areas: Cultural Activities, Education, Health and Human Services, and Community Development.
Field of Interest Endowed Funds
Donors specify a purpose or geographic area where funds are to be spent.
Donor Advised Endowed Funds
Donor advised funds are excellent vehicles for those who wish to participate actively in grant making process. The donor retains the right to serve as an advisor, making grant recommendations for consideration by the Board of Directors. Donor advised funds allow donors to address personal philanthropic goals while reducing many of the administrative concerns inherent with the operation of a private foundation.
Organizational Endowed Funds
Organizations can become the Community Foundation’s partner in philanthropy by creating an endowment fund of their own. The income earned in this fund can be used for things such as operating expenses, awarding grants to non-profit organizations, and many other projects.
Scholarship Endowed Funds
A scholarship fund is established so that an education can be available to those that might not otherwise have the opportunity to receive it.
General Operating Endowed Fund
Donors contribute to the general operating fund to provide organizational support to the Community Foundation.
Charitable Remainder Trust
The Community Foundation can be trustee for a CRT.
