Marketing and Training Coordinator - Prophetstown

JOB SUMMARY:

 

The Marketing and Training Coordinator is responsible for the development and implementation of sound marketing strategies in the communities we serve.  This position will also include partnering with department leaders to assess training needs and identify ways to enhance training effectiveness.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Work directly with the leadership team to identify marketing opportunities.
  • Work proactively with team members to develop and execute marketing initiatives.
  • Educate and engage staff in marketing strategies.
  • Manage strategic use, design, functionality, content, and enhancements of Bank’s web site.
  • Manage marketing vendor relationships to include media, ad agencies, design firms, web developers, etc.
  • Maintain current working knowledge of marketing principles and strategies, financial industry issues, trends and developments, and financial technology.
  • Develop and coordinate customer newsletters.
  • Coordinate, manage, and deliver all forms of marketing communication with existing and potential customers.
  • Manage the development and coordination of customer training and appreciation events, both at the Prophetstown conference center and offsite.
  • Promote the bank’s involvement in community events and coordinate staff participation.
  • Coordinate messages for the Bank’s digital marquee.
  • Develop and maintain Bank’s social media presence.
  • Work collaboratively with human resources for the training and development of staff.
  • Coordinate ongoing review and updating of internal training materials and resources.
  • Support departmental training initiatives through the use of in-house learning techniques and formal learning solutions.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field from an accredited college or University.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in marketing project management, with equivalent or greater responsibilities.
  • Experience working with financial services, bank and/or residential lending organizations, or marketing agency with such financial services clients preferred.
