    Grab & Go Customer Appreciation Lunch

    On Friday, August 31, 2018, FNB held their second annual Grab & Go Customer Appreciation Lunch. Each office served 350 – 400 patrons. The free lunch included a sandwich, chips, cookie and a water in an insulated FNB lunch bag.

    United Way’s Power of the Purse Fundraiser

    FNB proudly sponsored United Way’s Power of the Purse Fundraiser on September 27, 2018. This event raises funds for the L.I.F.E. (Literacy is Fun for Everyone) program which provides books at no cost to every child from newborn to age 5 in Whiteside County.     30th Annual Charity Golf Outing

    On September 17, 2018, FNB employees Nick Volckmann, Nick Emmerson, Mike Urish, and Steve Taets participated in the 30th Annual Russell Charity Golf Outing. This outing raised $50,000 for Gabe’s All-Inclusive Play Village.

    On August 15, 2018, FNB sponsored the entertainment stage at the Whiteside County Fair in Morrison. Hand held fans and free ice cream coupons were handed out to all fairgoers attending the concert. FNB employees were invited to a meet and greet with the entertainer for the night, Keith Anderson!     Whiteside County Relay for Life 2018

     

    On June 2, 2018, FNB’s Investing in a Cure team participated in the Whiteside County Relay for Life.  Walking for FNB were Amanda Geuns, Kristi and Andy Bass, Joanne Olson, Joan McCowan, and Meri and Nicole Hammer.  The team raised over $1,600 this year.  A quilt made by Kristi Bass’ mom, Nina Holloway, was raffled off and raised over $600.  Joanne Olson also made a quilt for the silent auction and Kristi’s sister-in-law, Regina Holloway, cross-stitched a beautiful cancer awareness sampler picture for the silent auction.  Excellent job team!

    PLT FFA Jacket Donation

    On May 3, 2018, FNB employees, Garett Plumley and Megan Thompson, presented the PLT FFA chapter with a donation of $875 to assist in purchasing jackets for the FFA members.  FFA members have the option to purchase the jackets at a cost of anywhere from $50 - $80.  The donated funds will be used to buy a set of 10 jackets for future use and the rest to help out current members.

Geneseo

    Donations from Jean Saturdays

    FNB employees have the option to wear jeans to work on Saturdays by donating to local organizations. Donated items will be distributed to the local organizations throughout the year on a quarterly basis. The second quarter Geneseo Office donations goes to the Geneseo Food Pantry.     Trains, Planes and Automobiles

    On September 8, 2018, FNB sponsored the trophy and selected our favorite automobile at the Trains, Planes and Automobiles event in down Geneseo. Pictured here is winner Les Strole with FNB employee Steve Taets. Steve selected Les’ 66 Dodge Coronet Hemi as his favorite automobile at the event. Les was thrilled, stating after 52 years in storage it was a day of celebration for a one of kind vehicle.

    Trophies for Hammond Henry Hospital

    On September 10, 2018, FNB employees Nick Emmerson, Nick Volckmann, Garett Plumley, and Steve Taets participated in and sponsored the trophies for the Hammond Henry Hospital Foundation golf outing.

    On June 7, 2018, FNB employees, Nick Volckmann, Mike Urish, Steve Taets, and Brandt Hutchcraft, participated in the Geneseo Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing held at Sugar Maple Golf Club.

Morrison

    Morrison Office donates 200 reusable bags

    For the second year in a row, FNB has donated 200 reusable bags to the Odell Public Library in Morrison for their annual book sale. The Library was very thankful for the donation. This year’s sale is on November 3, 2018. Pictured are FNB Morrison employee, Angie Erickson, and Odell Public Library Director, Lori Matlack.
