    FNB Inve$ting in a Cure participated in the Whiteside County Relay for Life on June 8, 2019. Our team was small but mighty. With the support of FNB and our employees, we raised $1,233 for the American Cancer Society.

    Tampico Festival 2019

    The Tampico community has hosted a summer weekend festival for many years and this year is re-introducing the event with a new name – “Tampico Festival 2019”. Tampico is a close neighbor to Prophetstown, one of the three communities in our consolidated school district, and home to many FNB customers, so the Bank was happy to help out with sponsorship of $500 for the event! The picture above is some of FNB’s Prophetstown staff and was featured on the Tampico Festival Facebook page with a thank you post.

    Free Shred Day

    On Saturday, April 20, 2019, FNB hosted a Free Shred Day at all three FNB Offices. Prophetstown shredded 7,000 pounds, Geneseo shredded 6,025 pounds and Morrison shredded 4,890 pounds of paper! It was a beautiful Spring day for the event and we appreciate everyone who stopped by with their shred.

    Prophetstown Lyndon Food Pantry Donation

    In addition to our regular monthly Charity Jean Day, Farmers National Bank employees have an option to also wear jeans on Saturdays by donating to local organizations.  Donated items are distributed to local organizations throughout the year as designated on a quarterly basis by each FNB Office.  2019’s 1st quarter donations went to the Prophetstown Lyndon Food Pantry from FNB’s Prophetstown Office.  Pictured above is FNB’s Erin VanUnnik and Food Pantry’s Lori Ploenzke.

    Happy Tails Humane Society Donation

    In addition to our regular monthly Charity Jean Day, Farmers National Bank employees have an option to also wear jeans on Saturdays by donating to local organizations.  Donated items are distributed to local organizations throughout the year as designated on a quarterly basis by each FNB Office.  2018’s 4th quarter donations went to Happy Tails Humane Society from FNB’s Prophetstown and Morrison Offices.  Pictured above making the donation are Morrison’s Angie Erickson and Prophetstown’s Megan Thompson.

    Family Night Basketball

    FNB hosted "Family Night Basketball" at the Morrison vs Erie-Prophetstown high school game this winter on December 11, 2018. Students were admitted free to the game while all fans enjoyed free popcorn and raffles.  Pictured above are some lucky fans who were the winners of the raffles!

    $20,000 Donation to the Hammond-Henry Hospital Foundation


    Farmers National Bank recently donated $20,000 to the Hammond-Henry Hospital Foundation for the Emergency Department renovation project. According to HHH Foundation manager Darcy Hepner, "we are excited to announce that we have exceeded our goal and are currently at $603,000 and still accepting donations." The construction is well on its way with completion slated for the fall of 2019.

    Hammond Henry Foundation 16th Annual Celebrity Dinner


    On Monday April 8, 2019, FNB Geneseo employees (pictured) enjoyed a Superhero themed evening for the Hammond Henry Foundation 16th Annual Celebrity Dinner at the Cellar Restaurant in Geneseo. Over $40,000.00 was raised during the evening event! FNB's donated package also pictured above went for $2,000. Funds raised will go toward equipment needs in the Emergency Department (currently under renovation and expansion).

    Annual JA Bowl A Thon

    Geneseo’s Annual Christmas Walk

    FNB’s Geneseo Office participated in Geneseo’s Annual Christmas Walk with the theme ‘Flannel and Frost’ on December 8, 2018.  FNB’s constructed a forest float which featured a large tree with plaid decorations in the center.  The parade had a wonderful turnout and FNB won third place!

     

    Donations from Jean Saturdays

    FNB employees have the option to wear jeans to work on Saturdays by donating to local organizations. Donated items will be distributed to the local organizations throughout the year on a quarterly basis. The second quarter Geneseo Office donations goes to the Geneseo Food Pantry.     Morrison’s Farmers Market


    On July 31, 2019, FNB sponsored all booths at the Morrison Farmer’s Market evening event. Free lunch bags filled with cookies, peanuts and water were handed out to all market goers. Pictured are Morrison FNB employees left to right: Doug, Brenda, Angie, Marlo, Ashley, and Kristi.

    On June 1, 2019, Doug Vanderlaan and Kristi Bass represented FNB at the opening day for the Morrison’s Farmers Market.  Doug, Kristi, and Kristi’s husband, Andy, set up the FNB tent and handed out reusable bags and other marketing items to market visitors.  It was a nice turn out for being the first day of the year, and in a new location at the French Creek Park instead of Main Street in Morrison.

    Morrison Office donates 200 reusable bags

    For the second year in a row, FNB has donated 200 reusable bags to the Odell Public Library in Morrison for their annual book sale. The Library was very thankful for the donation.
